The A B Ready Code
- Keep healthy and get a good night’s sleep.
- Attend class everyday. Be on time and in your seat.
- Work hard to earn only A’s (Exceed Expectations) and B’s (Proficient) in rigorous courses.
- Check and record grades frequently and on a regular basis
- Understand the learning process: presentation (teacher and textbook), classroom activities, assessments (quizzes and tests).
- Participate fully in class. Concentrate and show interest.
- Do your homework everyday and on time.
- Ask questions at every stage of the learning process when you don’t understand something.
- Use your planner, calendar, binder, and backpack to be well-organized.
- Remember why you are doing all this: to be ready to do college work by the time you graduate from high school.
